For example, the Yellow Mountain in Anhui province recorded revenue of 15.8 million yuan over the first three days of “golden week,” while Jiuhuashan Scenic Area saw its revenue hit 15.34 million yuan, according to company statements.
Roughly 38% of tourists’ culture and tourism consumption during “golden week” was between 501 yuan to 1,000 yuan, the ministry said. People spent an average 2.25 days on their trips, 9.5% longer than that for the Ching Ming festival holiday.
