A four-meter cobra was spotted in the Hong Kong countryside on Wednesday morning.

At 11 am, a villager from Wu Kau Tang in Sha Tau Kok in the Northeast New Territories called police after finding the large snake outside a house, Oriental Daily reported. Police called in British snake expert Dave Willott to catch the reptile.

According to a video posted on Facebook, the expert found the snake and took it by the head. He pulled it out of the debris while another villager helped grabbed the snake’s tail. As it was a four-meter-long cobra, it took some time for Willott to put it into a bag.

Police took the snake away and sent it to the Kadoorie Farm.
