دعا تجمع المهنيين السودانيين الذي يقوم بدور قيادي في تنظيم الحراك الثوري في السودان لإضراب عام للمطالبة بتسليم السلطة لقوى مدنية لتقود المرحلة الانتقالية في السودان في أعقاب الإطاحة بالرئيس عمر البشير الشهر الماضي.
واتهم التجمع في بيان أمس الثلاثاء المجلس العسكري الانتقالي بالإصرار على «تبديد الثورة من محتواها» بعد فشل جولة مفاوضات جديدة بين الطرفين.
وجاء التصعيد بعد تقدم في المفاوضات الأسبوع الماضي التي تهدف للتوصل لاتفاق يخص آليات الحكم في الفترة الانتقالية.
قال تجمع المهنيين السودانيين في بيانه أمس أن المجلس العسكري يصر على أن يكون المجلس السيادي الانتقالي ذي قيادة وأغلبية عسكرية، وأكد أن الشعب السوداني «لم يكن يرغب في أن يبدل سلطة عسكرية قديمة بسلطة عسكرية جديدة بوجوه جديدة».
وأعلنت قطاعات وشركات عديدة انضمامها للإضراب.
