أعلنت وكالة الأمن العام السعودية عن القبض على شخصين بعد انتشار مقاطع على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي توثق ثلاثة حوادث تحرش في المملكة خلال الأسبوع الماضي.
وقال المتحدث الإعلامي للمنطقة الشرقية في بيان السبت أن «الجهات الأمنية ستعمل بكل حزم وقوة وصرامة لردع كل من تسول له نفسه المساس بأمن المجتمع».
كانت ثلاث مقاطع مصورة انتشرت خلال الأسبوع الماضي تظهر حوادث تحرش بسيدات في المجال العام بالسعودية أثارت ضجة وردود فعل غاضبة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
يظهر في حادثتين تحرش بسيدتين داخل محال بقالة، وقعت إحدى الحادثتين في مدينة الدمام والأخرى في منطقة تبوك شمال غرب المملكة، بحسب مستخدمي مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي الذين تداولوا المقاطع.
أما المقطع الثالث الذي قال المستخدمون انه وقع في مدينة الخبر الشرقية، فيتضمن قيام شخص بالاقتراب من نافذة سيارة تقودها سيدة والقيام بإيحاءات تنطوي على تحرش.
وأكدت النيابة العامة في بيان السبت على إثر هذه الحوادث أن المملكة تجرم جميع أشكال التحرش الجنسي سواء بالقول أو الفعل بعقوبة تصل للحبس سنتين.
