A Filipina domestic worker facing three charges of assault and two of indecent assault on a child under her care pleaded not guilty at the Kowloon City Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The defendant Angela Vivo, who is out on bail, is accused of hurting and indecently assaulting a six-year-old boy on separate occasions spanning four years, sunwebhk.com reported.

The prosecution has lined up three witnesses for a two-day trial scheduled to take place in June. The alleged victim will also give evidence, via a video link.

The court heard that the first assault happened on an unknown day in June 2016 outside the Yau Ma Tei Fire Station in Kowloon.

The two other assaults allegedly happened between July 2016 and on Sept 7, 2018, also in Yau Ma Tei.

The charge sheet said the assaults had caused hurt that interfered with the health of the boy.

The defendant was also accused of indecently assaulting the boy on a day between 2015 and 2016 and again last year at her employer’s flat in Yau Ma Tei.
