A 15-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly assaulting a girl classmate at a secondary school in the New Territories on Wednesday.

Yan Chai Hospital Tung Chi Ying Memorial Secondary School in Ma On Shan called police after a schoolgirl accused her classmate of molesting her in the classroom, Apple Daily reported. The alleged crime happened at 9 am while the students were waiting for classes to start.

Six boys alleged approached the girl and one of them stole a card for an online game from the girl’s wallet. The girl wanted to get the card back, but the boys refused. They pushed each other and the girl alleged that the boy holding the card touched her breast and another had touched her bottom.

The girl cried and complained to her classmates, who later informed the school social worker. The school decided to call police through a police relations officer, Sing Pao reported. Police are still investigating the case they classified as indecent assault and common assault.

The school refused to comment on the incident. Video clips showing bullying at the school were made public in January. Police arrested eight students aged between 17 and 19 after three video clips showed a boy being stripped and attacked by other students.
