قامت السلطات الإماراتية بالقبض على سيدة إنجليزية فور وصولها للإمارات الشهر الماضي لحضور جنازة طليقها بسبب إساءتها لزوجته الثانية منذ ثلاث سنوات.
كانت البريطانية لالي شهرافيش وصلت دبي الشهر الماضي مع إبنتها البالغة من العمر 14 عام لتفاجأ بالقبض عليها بتهمة الإساءة لزوجة طليقها عبر مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي، بحسب بيان أمس الإثنين لمنظمة «محتجز في دبي» التي تتولى الدفاع عن شهرافيش.
كانت شهرافيش في بريطانيا مع إبنتها حين فوجئت بتطليق زوجها البرتغالي المقيم في دبي لها وزواجه من أخرى. أعادت شهرافيش، نشر صورة لطليقها مع زوجته الجديدة في أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2016 تنعتها في تعليق باللغة الفارسية بال«حصانة» وتتمنى الموت لزوجها السابق. قامت الزوجة الثانية بالإبلاغ عن شهرافيش لدى السلطات الإماراتية.
طالبت المنظمة بالإفراج عن شهرافيش، وأكدت أن تطبيق القانون الإماراتي عليها غير قانوني لكتابتها التعليق أثناء تواجدها في بريطانيا حيث لا يشكل ما كتبته جريمة.
بحسب قانون الجريمة الإلكترونية في الإمارات، تصل عقوبة التهمة التي تواجهها شهرافيش لسنتين في السجن.
