Chinese tech company Lenovo, known for its computer brand worldwide, is working with Changjiang EV, an electric automaker to build a smart networking platform for cars based on artificial intelligence and “Internet of Vehicles,” The Paper reported.

It has been reported that Lenovo Connect, a subsidiary of the Group, has had a strong performance in the field of car networking. In fact, it has independently developed an MNO smart car networking platform for new energy vehicles.

Wang Shuai, CEO of Lenovo Connect, said the company will focus on three areas — smart interaction, smart industrial interconnection and smart car networking — which will work to complement each other.

Smart industrial interconnection will also provide solutions to the production of smart cars and interactive devices. Meanwhile, smart interaction will aggregate all services including car networking onto a screen and make it reachable to users, according to Wang.
