In reply to questions about its business outlook for this year, Moutai chairman Li Baofang said they have set the revenue growth target at 14% year on year for 2019. “Based on the situation in the first quarter, I’m quite confident about our performance in the remaining three quarters,” Li was quoted as saying in a QQ.com report.
Li said that Moutai will expand its annual production capacity to 56,000 tons by the end of this year. The company so far has no plans to further increase production capacity after the on-going expansion is done.
