A heavily edited video showing a middle-aged man fighting a drunk younger man on a Hong Kong MTR train on Sunday has gone viral. A man named Kwan Yeung uploaded the video to a Facebook group at 1 am, saying when he took the train home, he witnessed a fight between the two men inside the train, the Oriental Daily reported.
The younger man, who was said to be drunk, yelled at the middle-aged man. Suddenly, the middle-aged man punched the younger man and then subdued him by grabbing him around the neck and dragging him out of the carriage. A fistfight between the two then took place on the platform at Mong Kok MTR station.
Witnesses said the older man advised the man to sit properly, but was scolded with bad language, prompting the older man to teach him a lesson. A spokesperson for the MTR confirmed a fight had happened on the Mong Kok MTR station on Sunday. They reported the case to police, Apple Daily reported.
Media reports did not say whether the two men were arrested.
