On Thursday, 19-year-old Zhang Yang, a Chinese national, was arrested for allegedly molesting three women inside a “house of horror” attraction at Star City, an amusement park in Pasay City. He now faces charges of acts of lasciviousness, ABS-CBN News reported.
According to the mother of one of the victims, the three women were with five other friends when Zhang allegedly manhandled them. The victims reported the incident to a security guard, who immediately apprehended Zhang.
Vanessa Camisera, a police officer at the Women and Children’s Protection Desk of the Pasay City Police, said that Zhang may face a period of imprisonment between six months and one day to six years.
Addressing the matter, Bureau of Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval said: “(The victims) can also file an immigration charge to deport and blacklist the suspect from the Philippines because we do not tolerate such actions by foreigners in our country.”
