2月17日，四川省公安廳交警總隊高速交警五支隊的民警，向內地媒體澎湃新聞介紹了一宗現實當中像荷李活電影「狂野時速」（國內譯為「速度與激情」）的事件。
2月6日大年初二，成南高速公路上，有一輛無牌林寶堅尼在行駛。由於這輛車長時間佔用應急車道行使，巡邏民警發現後上前喊話，要求駕駛員靠邊停車接受檢查。誰知，聽到警察的停車要求後，駕駛員不但拒絕靠邊停車，反而加速行使，以時速170公里以上的速度奔逃。
看到這種反常情況，高速交警立即駕車追趕這輛林寶堅尼。途中，林寶堅尼幾次突然變道超車，以超過170公里的速度繼續狂飆。還好，當天高速路上車流較大，在接下來的路段中林寶堅尼無法全速逃離，高速交警終於在追了40公里後將其攔下。
被截停之後，駕駛員竟然還在車裏磨蹭了半個多小時才下車接受調查。
據警方調查，該駕駛員姓段，四川南充人，有駕照，但無法提供該跑車的任何手續和證件。目前，警方已將車輛暫扣，正對車輛來源作進一步調查。
網友們熱議，開著沒有車牌的跑車還超速，這個司機應該被終身吊銷駕照！
