澳洲華裔富商黃向墨，日前被澳洲政府以《反外國干政法》，撤銷居留權，入籍澳洲申請亦被拒。他近日接受中國官媒的專訪，他指所受處罰是「欲加之罪，何患無辭」，又指歷史決定澳洲有「巨嬰」的先天特性，還沒有在國際關係中找到定位。
黃向墨在與《環球時報》的訪問中提及，自己7年前從香港移居澳洲，全家三代人均已移居澳洲7年，除了他，全家都是澳洲公民，已融入澳洲社會。黃向墨原名黃暢然，是廣東揭東縣玉湖鎮人，早年在深圳創立玉湖集團，主力投資地產。他表示，澳洲只是他生意的一部分，已經傳給了兒子黃基銓，自己不再擔任任何職務也沒有股份。
黃向墨稱，澳洲的相關文件表明他沒有違反澳洲任何法律，入籍申請被拒的原因是明確的，即他曾擔任澳洲中國和平統一促進會主席，也是大洋洲中國和平統一促進聯盟主席。黃向墨稱，澳洲安全情報局（ASIO）認為他致力推動中國和平統一的言行，等同於危害澳洲的國家安全，這個邏輯「我也搞不懂」，「我的言行完全符合澳洲的外交政策及法律」。
他認為：「今天你能如此對待華人，明天同樣就能針對猶太人、針對阿拉伯人。這才是最為危險的。」
黃還稱，澳洲安全情報局及移民官員對他進行2年多「背景分析」，基於當事人的私隱，都不應該洩露任何相應訊息，不過他的資料就被洩露了給媒體，這應該違反了法律法規，甚至構成了犯罪。
黃向墨又談及其對澳洲政黨和政治人物的政治捐款，是從2012年開始的，因為他希望能促進華人依法參政。但對他的質疑是從2016年開始的，某些媒體蹊蹺地開展協同抹黑，而且呼應新聞的智庫不少與「某國」的軍火企業相關。
據澳洲廣播公司報導，黃向墨直接或通過其公司向澳洲政黨捐款至少200萬澳元（約142萬美元），包括在前工黨參議員山姆·達斯季亞里任秘書長時向新州工黨捐款15萬澳元。達斯季亞里曾替中國在南中國海問題上的行為進行辯護，最終導致了他的下台。
黃向墨上周在一個聲明中要求，如果各政黨認為捐贈不合適，應將捐款退還。
黃向墨認為中澳關係近年來「磕磕絆絆」，根本原因是在新的國際關係下，澳洲還未找到最能符合其利益的定位，還形容歷史原因決定澳洲有「巨嬰」的先天屬性，成長需要時間，還有很長的路要走。
