Two strong leaders met to reaffirm the century-old friendship between their brotherly nations in Ankara on January 4.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is a brave, honest and visionary leader who has deep feelings about the oppression of the global Muslim community, or ummah. In his maiden speech after winning the general election in July 2018, he said he wanted to promote peace and stability, especially in the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Kashmir.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the strongman leader of a proud nation. The Ottoman Empire (1299-1922), which spread over parts of Asia, Africa and Europe, was the greatest in Muslim history.
Mustafa Kemal Ataturk
Khan visited Turkey on the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on 3-5 January. He laid a wreath at Anitkabir, the mausoleum of the Turkish Republic’s founder, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, as part of an official state visit to Ankara on January 4.
As Khan left, he signed the guest book, writing: “It is a matter of great honor for me to be present here to pay homage to one of the greatest statesmen and visionary leaders of the 20th century – Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Leading the Turkish nation at one of the most challenging times, he changed the course of Turkish and indeed the world’s history, becoming an inspiration for all those resisting the tide of colonialism across the world. He was an epitome of courage, strength, resilience, forbearance, and wisdom.”
He continued: “Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, described Ataturk as ‘one of the greatest men who has ever lived.’ On behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, I would like to convey my deepest admiration and respect for Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. His glorious struggle and leadership for the independence and unity of the Turkish nation will forever remain a golden chapter in the annals of history.”
Khan also visited a museum in central Anatolia dedicated to Mevlana Rumi, the famed 13th-century Muslim poet. Rumi was a spiritual leader of the Muslim ummah and his philosophy and sayings are well respected all around the world. He was the spiritual teacher of the famous Pakistani poet and philosopher Sir Allam Muhammad Iqbal, who was a well-respected leader of Muslims in South and Central Asia.
Khan also met with leaders of the business communities of both countries and encouraged them to work to develop bilateral economic ties, and offered to help facilitate this.
When Erdogan received Khan at the presidential palace on Friday, a joint communique was issued:
• Having exchanged views on the entire spectrum of Turkey – Pakistan bilateral “heart-to-heart” relationship as well as on issues of regional and international importance, the leaders of the two countries:

• Agreed to convene the 6th Session of the Turkey-Pakistan High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in Pakistan at mutually convenient dates for further discussion on these areas.
The visit was described as very successful and marked the beginning of a new era. It is expected that bilateral relations in trade and defense will develop rapidly. Diplomatic harmony and people-to-people contact will improve exponentially. Both countries enjoy harmony on regional and global issues, especially on Afghanistan, Kashmir and the Middle East.
In fact, emerging geopolitical scenarios and economic crises have brought the two countries even closer to each other. It is expected, that close cooperation between the two nations will be fruitful and ensure “peace, stability and development,” not only for Pakistan and Turkey but also for the region and the world.
Erdogan will visit Pakistan in the very near future. Officials are working on finalizing the dates and other formalities.

Er-Dog-An sahb has already lost the war in the SyRaq a long time ago…Russia/ Iran dono nay mill kar Er-Dog-An sahb key bhund lugga dee hae….fair and square too!…..We know for a fact these turkish can’t fight for shit, and neithr can any of the turkish headchopper proxies of ISIS/ Nusra/ FSA/ al-Qaeda etc….. And as for this Er-Dog-An……From football player to truck driver to Islamist……to muslim brotherhood goon to the father of ISIS, I’m dissappointed IK met a loser like him. Not to be outdone, now IK sahb is taking money from known terrorists in sawdi and UAE. I have no faith left in IK at all anymore. He’s gone down that wrong path as Gen Zia once did 40 odd years ago, and he too will pay very dearly for his mistakes as these sawdi and emarati’s have convinced him to provide pakistani youth/ convicts/ mercenaries as cannon fodder in their futile attempts to confront Russia/ Iran. This is just desperation now on IK’s part…….We should have stayed the hell away from the sectarian ME inferno, but sounds like its too late now. The die is cast.

This writer is delusional and claims that IK is an apostle of peace – YES, the peace of the graveyard after Pakistani convicts and youth are used as cannon fodder for Mid-East wars. This is what happens when a BEGGAR Nation like PAKISTAN is bent on beggaring and buggering!
Erdogan is a tinpot Turkish dictator suffering from delusions of grandeur and fancies himself as a latter day Sultan Mehmet! This piece of turd lost his influence in the MUDDLE EAST after backing ISIS-like groups who proved useless against their SHIITE enemies!
IK is a dimwit who doesn’t realise that Kemal Ataturk founded the only SECULAR STATE in the Muslim world, and ended the useless Khilafat and consigned the fat Sultan to the dustbin of history, and also ended the Arabic script and replaced it with the Roman script and began the modernising of Turkey.

Turkey and Pakistan were the first legitimate Muslim governments since the death of our Prophet in 632. Both were set up as Justice minded secular Republics in the image of the secular Mohammedan Republic of Medina of 622.
However, in past 70 years both Republics morphed into law-and-order Democracies, ruled by of the Demos (the 5% moneyed males) a la Kaliphate.
Jinnah was a fan of Ataturk. Even later, the Paks looked up to Turkey for guidance. But there the comparison ends.
Turkey, for it first 70 years was the darling of the colonialist West , "the star of Islam". Then Islamsists took over. Today, the "strongman" Erdogan dreams of neo-con Sultanate or Kaliphate. But as Pak Eqbal Ahmed put it well once, "strong men make weak nations".
Pakistan, after briefly flirting with the "Kaliphate" has lost a taste for it. The model for IK seems to be the Republic of Medina, not the Kaliphate.
While IK is a fan of Ataturk and Jinnah. Erdogan is anti-Kemalist in spirit and deeds. And IK is of Sufi bent, but Erdogan is Muslim Brotherhood. Sufis are close to the Shia, the MB hates them both.
As China unifies Asia, Africa, and continental Europe into one landmass common market with BRI/New Silk Road, Paks are way ahead in the game. And there are other reasons why not Turkey but Pak is the true leader of Islam.
• Manifest Destiny. Only people to push pan-Islamism / pan-humanism: Iqbal’s Muslim hein hum watan hey sara jahan hamara

• Geographical heart of Islamic domain, strategic between Asia, Africa, and Europe
• Language closest to both Arabic and Persian. All can read Quran and many understand it
• Only large Muslim country where English is the working language
• Mix of 3 of 5 civilizations – race/language from Indics, ideology from Islam, Republic/English from West
• High on world Happiness Index
• High on world Resilience Index and increasing
• Only Muslim country that can feed itself with borders shut
• Widest gene pool, optimal demographic profile, most diverse ethnicity and culture
• First and only nuclear state
• Masterminded, led, and managed the demise of the Soviet Empire
• Largest Population with worldwide diaspora of 10,000,000+
• Acceptable to Ummah (Turkey unacceptable to Arabs).

Keep in mind all this is happening with the tacit approval of the US. Just like it always does.

U must be delusional! Russians and Iranians have massacred "millions" of Jihadists! What a load of bollocks! Don’t indulge in hyperbole.
Thousands of Iranians died in that war, between SHIITES and SUNNIS, in a continuation of the sectarian war for 1400 years. Muslims will destroy each other, that’s for sure, on any pretext!
