A Filipino man in Sugar Grove, Illinois, has been sentenced to at least 96 years in prison for sexually assaulting children. Noel Buhay, 51, was found guilty of eight counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, WSPY News reported.

According to the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office, Buhay is serving a 45-year jail term after being convicted of three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault on March 17, 2017. Buhay was found to have sexually assaulted a foster child who was living with his family between January 2004 and May 2004.

On Tuesday, the court heard that Buhay had sexually assaulted a second victim whom he knew between December 2005 and December 2008. The second victim was under the age of 13. Buhay was handed a minimum 51 years in prison for his latest conviction.

In addition to his jail sentence, Buhay must register as a sexual offender for life in accordance with the Illinois Sexual Offender Registration Act.
