Two winners will share a PHP1.18 billion lottery jackpot after weeks of rollovers in the 6/58 Ultra Lotto in the Philippines.

According to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), the jackpot reached PHP1,180,622,508 (US$21,876,353), which is the highest prize in lotto history in the Philippines, CNN Philippines reported.

The PCSO said the winners were from Legazpi City in Albay and from Barangay H. Borongan in Eastern Samar. The winning numbers were 40, 50, 37, 25, 01 and 45.

The previous record for the highest prize in the Philippine lottery was PHP741 million, which was won by a lone ticket holder in 2010.

The latest prize is the second time this year that two people have shared the Ultra Lotto 6/58. The first time occurred on February 16, when two winners shared PHP331 million.
