A man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a Filipina in a village house in Tuen Mun, the New Territories on Sunday.

At 11am, the Pakistani man, who is a Hong Kong identity card holder, was challenged by a 43-year-old Filipina for allegedly peeping at her girlfriend when she was bathing in a village house on Castle Peak Road, Oriental Daily reported.

After an argument ensued, the man allegedly struck the Filipina’s face and neck.

Police were called in and sent the injured woman to hospital for medical treatment, news website HK01.com reported.

The man was arrested for alleged common assault and was detained. Tuen Mun police station’s crime investigation team is following up the case.
