A Filipina domestic worker denied one count of common assault and one count of indecent assault on a local man when she appeared in the Eastern Magistrates’ Court in Hong Kong last Thursday.
Ivy Rebustillo appeared before the Magistrate Peter Law at the court and denied both charges, thesunweb.com reported. The court heard she assaulted and indecently assaulted a man at her employer’s apartment on King’s Road in North Point on Hong Kong Island on June 30 this year.
However, no other details of the alleged incident were mentioned in court. The prosecution also said they had taken a statement and a video interview with the victim lasting one hour, 17 minutes. They also had 30 minutes of surveillance footage showing the alleged offenses.
Rebustillo was on bail and will stand trial on Oct. 6.
