An Indonesian who was beaten up badly by villagers in Malaysia after being caught peeping on a woman taking a shower early this month has died.
The incident happened on Saturday August 11 when the man was found prying on an indigenous female who was having a shower in Kampung Orang Asli Baru in Sungai Lalang, the China Press reported.
The Indonesian man was reportedly detained in the village and beaten up severely by members of the public – indigenous villagers in Semenyih, Selangor.
He reportedly lost consciousness after the attack – slipped into a coma – and was sent to Kajang Hospital for treatment.
But after 12 days at the hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries on August 22.
Officials said the man suffered a severe head injury, consistent with blunt force trauma and other internal injuries, according to a post-mortem report.
The Kajang police made an arrest and remanded a man in his 20s till August 29 to assist in their investigation into the alleged murder case.
