An Indonesian migrant worker in Pahang, Malaysia was injured in a struggle with two men who tried to snatch her handbag.

The incident took place on Jalan Haji Kassim in Mentakab on the morning of August 24. The woman, who was walking to work alone, was targeted by two men on motorcycles, the Sin Chew Daily (Malaysia) reported.

When she paused at an intersection next to a small temple, the suspects attacked her from behind and tried to snatch her handbag.

The victim put up a fight, and soon found herself in a tug of war with one of the men, who eventually let go and fled empty-handed.

As a result, the victim lost her balance and fell off to the ground, injuring her wrist.

Although her handbag was torn open during the struggle, the victim managed not to lose any of her valuables to the would-be thieves.
