Beijing ranks first among 22 Chinese cities in terms of business environment evaluation, Yicai.com has reported.

According to the evaluation held by the National Development and Reform Commission, Beijing also ranked first when it comes to measuring the life cycle of enterprises and the attractiveness of the urban investment, reflecting a high level of urban high-quality development.

In terms of starting a business, Beijing has cut the application process from seven to two, and shortened the processing time from 24 to 5 days.

As for getting permissions for social investment projects, the processing time has been reduced from 109 to 45 days.

Also, it takes only one day for an enterprise to get the approval to purchase a property. The processing time for real estate registration was also shortened to 5 days from 10.
