An American man was sentenced to 20 years in jail for paying Filipino women to sexually abuse children and live-stream the abuse over the internet.
Between October 2011 and February 2012, Dwayne Stinson, 53, from Manassas in Virginia, communicated with women in the Philippines and instructed them to sexually abuse children as young as six years old, Philippine Lifestyle News reported.
The United States Justice Department said in a statement that Stinson paid around 40 women through an electronic payment service. Stinson admitted he instructed a Filipino woman to engage in sexual acts with her six-year-old son and to live-stream the abuse.
Stinson then took screenshots of the abuse and stored them in his computer. The Prince William County police searched Stinson’s home in March 2012 and found hard drives of child pornography.
In July 2017, Stinson was arrested and charged with five counts of producing child pornography in September 2017. Stinson pleaded guilty to the charges in April and was sentenced to a jail term of 20 years on August 24. He was also sentenced to 10 years of supervised release.
