Police are searching for a South Asian man suspected of committing four indecent assaults in Kwai Tsing district in Hong Kong.

At 11pm on Thursday, when a 28-year-old woman was near Shek Wing House on Shek Lei Estate, a South Asian man indecently assaulted her, Sing Tao Daily reported.

The man escaped and the victim took out her phone and captured the back of the culprit as he ran away. She reported the case to the police.

The victim then informed the district councillor Lam Siu-fai, who assisted her in posting the photo on social media, alerting other women living in the district to take extra care.

Councillor Lam said that four indecent assault cases had occurred during the last two weeks. All four victims described their attacker as South Asian.

Police are now searching for a South Asian man aged between 22 and 55. He is said to be 1.72 meters tall, of thin build and with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white vest and black pants.
