A concerned neighbor shot a video of a young Indonesian boy climbing on the window of a high-rise flat in Penang, Malaysia, and posted it on social media in a bid to alert the boy’s family to the danger the youngster faced.
The neighbor filmed the video of the boy climbing up and down the inside of the window, which had a broken frame, on the 12th story of a residential building. The video was shot of the apartment at Block E2 of Taman Teluk Indah in Prai of Penang at 3:30pm on July 23, the China Press reported.
The man who filmed the video lived in a building opposite to the flat and said the boy could have been fallen from the broken window. He also asked why the boy’s parents did not stop him climbing on the window.
The management of the building was alarmed and asked the tenant to block the gap in the window with a wooden board until it could be fixed properly. However, reporters visiting the scene the next day and the gap in the window was still there.
The boy in the video was allegedly diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and loved moving and playing near the window.
