ZTO Express, one of the big four express companies in China, has joined forces with Turkish Airlines and PAL Air to set up a joint venture in Hong Kong to help implement its overseas expansion, Yicai.com reported.

The latter  joint venture aims to become one of the world’s largest integrated service providers, focusing on the global e-commerce markets and providing efficient and reliable door-to-door delivery.

However, ZTO Express is not the only company targeting the burgeoning overseas battlefield. Earlier, YTO Express also established an International Business Division and acquired the On Time Group to prepare for global expansion.

In addition, SF Express, which has established trans-shipment centers and warehouses in several countries, including the United States, has also chosen to establish a joint venture with UPS to carry out its international express business.
