A new-born baby was left outside a Jollibee restaurant in Imus, Cavite, in the Philippines on Wednesday morning. A traffic enforcer saw the baby outside the restaurant and took him inside and out of the sun.

Staff immediately took care of the baby and one staff member breastfed the young boy, ABS-CBN News reported.

A Facebook post by Jesica Tan Verano, an employee at Jollibee, showed one staff member breastfeeding the baby. Verano said the baby will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Verano said the baby appeared to be a newborn as his navel wound was still fresh. She said after the traffic enforcer bought the baby inside the restaurant, their team leader cleaned the boy and fed him.

Verano’s post went viral overnight with more than 30,000 shares and more than 26,000 likes. In another post on Wednesday evening, Verano said the baby was in already in the care of the DSWD in Cavite.
