A 49-year-old Indonesian worker was killed in an accident on Monday when the bulldozer he operated flipped over at a construction site in Wasan, Limau Manis in Brunei.

The victim, named Sulakudin, was driving the bulldozer on a hillside but the heavy vehicle suddenly overturned, reported. The man was pinned underneath the overturned vehicle.

At 10:35am, the Limau Manis Police Station received an emergency call about the accident. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. His body was sent to the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital for a post-mortem.

Local police were still investigating the cause of the accident, the Borneo Bulletin reported.

Brunei is one of the major oil exporters in Southeast Asia and has a population of about 433,000. The country also has about 100,000 migrant workers, who mainly come from Indonesia, Bangladesh, China, the Philippines and Malaysia.
