A domestic worker and her employer were taken in for questioning after a window fell from an apartment and struck a taxi windscreen on Saturday.

A taxi driver surnamed Ng was driving his cab near an apartment tower on Park Road in Hong Kong’s Mid Levels, when the vehicle was struck by a falling aluminium window, Oriental Daily reported.

The falling window cracked the windscreen of his taxi. Ng, who was unhurt, reported the matter to the police.

Officers investigating the incident suspected that the window fell from an apartment. When they went into the apartment, they found that the window had earlier been cleaned by an Indonesian domestic worker.

The domestic worker and her female employer were taken to a police station for further questioning.
