A 40-year-old taxi driver has been arrested in Macau for an alleged indecent assault on an Indonesian woman in his cab on May 15.
The 20-year-old Indonesian domestic worker got into a taxi at 4am on Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues to go to Rotunda de Carlos da Maia, Jornal Cheng Pou reported.
The woman was wearing a pair of shorts and a vest and sat next to the driver, surnamed Leung.
During the ride, Leung was said to have kept talking to the woman and asked her, “Are you cold?” when he touched the woman’s right thigh without her consent.
The victim was afraid. She called the judiciary police after arriving at her destination.
Officers arrested the driver the next day. He allegedly admitted that he had been aroused by the woman’s sexy outfit.
After an investigation, police arrested Leung for an indecent assault and sent him to the public prosecutor’s office for further action.
hey not all indonesian are the same….she have the right to called the police and reported that kind of driver…his not nice and maniac person so he deserve to go jail…
It is really unfair for us ..a helper..if there is some one to be punish it should be the employer not the helper..
