A 39-year-old man was injured on Saturday afternoon after being hit by a car while crossing Thomson Road in Singapore. The man was jaywalking when a black car hit him.

The accident happened in front of a petrol kiosk near Novena Rise at Thomson Road, The Straits Times reported. Police said the man was conscious after the accident and was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for treatment.

Two videos of the accident were uploaded to Facebook. In the video, the man was seen jaywalking across the road. A black Mercedes car then hit the man who fell to the ground.

The man is seen lying on the road divider next to a green railing put up to prevent pedestrians from crossing the road. Police are investigating the case.
