HNA Tech, a technology arm of HNA Group, said it has no plan or intention to sell its subsidiary, Ingram Micro, contradicting rumours and a media report the company is looking for a buyer, The Paper reported.

The company said it noticed that Reuters and other media have reported that it plans to sell its IT distributor subsidiary, saying that HNA Group is seeking buyers for Ingram Micro, which includes China Huarong Asset Management.

The company reiterated that it has full of confidence in the prospect of Ingram Micro’s continued rapid development.

Furthermore, after completing the acquisition of 100% equity in Ingram Micro in 2016, the subsidiary has become a major strategic investment project of the company and is an important cornerstone and business asset of the company’s transformation and development.
