Coolpad Group Limited has taken three Xiaomi companies to court over alleged patent infringement, while Xiaomi has filed a US$10 billion IPO in Hong Kong, reported.

Coolpad said in an announcement on Thursday night that its subsidiary, Yulong Computer Communications Technology Co. Ltd., has sued Xiaomi Communications Technology Co. Ltd., Xiaomi Technology, Co. Ltd. and the first branch of Xiaomi Co. Ltd.

The company alleges that Xiaomi caused an infringement upon the invention patent listed as “Multi-mode mobile communication terminal interface system and method for call recording.”

The company is demanding that Xiaomi immediately stop the production and sale of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, Redmi Note 5 and Redmi 5 Plus mobile phones and compensation for economic losses.
