Rising Filipino-American talent Jalen Green earned a perfect score in all four attempts to take out the National Basketball Training Center Slam Dunk Contest at the Mall of Asia Arena in Metro Manila.

The 16-year-old student from Fresno in California beat professional dunker and former champion David Carlos in Friday’s final, as well as David Murrel and Elijah Jackson, Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.

“That’s the biggest part right there, beating a professional dunker. I came to a different country to put on a show. I just love the energy here. I’m really excited to win this,” said Green.

He sealed his victory with a 360 dunk that came off a pass to the side of the board by FilAm Sports USA teammate Kihei Clark.

Judges Jeron Tang, Danny Ildefonso, Kerby Raymundo, Bright Akjuetie and Juan Domes de Liaño gave Green a perfect score of 50 on all four of his dunks.

Green is rated a future prospect for the US National Basketball Association, ranked first by ESPN in its list of high school players in the Class of 2020.
