A man has told police he was robbed of a luxury watch and his wallet after meeting a woman at a pub in Wan Chai at the weekend.

The 31-year-old man, with the surname Kwong, said he met the woman at the pub on Lockhart Road late on Friday night, Wen Wei Po reported. They spent all night drinking together.

Kwong then woke up at 6:30am on Saturday on Lockhart Road near Stewart Road and found the woman had gone. He had abrasions on his right hand, mouth and nose.

The man’s Rolex watch, worth around HK$150,000 (US$19,114), and a wallet containing HK$200 (US$25) in cash were both missing.

The incident is being investigated by the crime unit at Wan Chai.
