A Filipino domestic worker is threatening to take action against a former employer who put up a “wanted” banner targeting her in Peak Road, Wan Chai, on Hong Kong Island.
Reylyn Padaoan, who worked for a man identified only as Mr Wong for two years and five months, said he had put up a banner asking the public to inform him of her whereabouts as she allegedly owes him HK$50,000 (US$6,390), reports sunwebhk.com, a news portal for Filipinos in Hong Kong.
On Tuesday, Padaoan spoke to sunwebhk.com and expressed her anger regarding the banner. She said she had been hired to take care of her female employer’s mother, who used to push her and throw things at her. She said her employers did not stop the old woman from hurting her.
During her first year working for them, Padaoan’s female employer lent her HK$20,000. The reason for the loan was not explained in the report. However, when Mr Wong found out about the loan, he was angry and argued with his wife, who had not told him about lending Padaoan money.
Padaoan’s salary was deducted each month in order to settle the debt. However, she was fired on September 2, 2017, before she could finish repaying the loan. She said she had promised to pay the remaining balance once she found a new job in Hong Kong.
Padaoan said she did not know why her debt had gone up to HK$50,000 and vowed to take action against her former male employer.

Maging moral lesson sa iba nating kababayan…lahat dapat may permahan para na if time like this may laban tayo.

The lesson here is’ never borrow money sa mga amo kasi we never know until when na sound yung utak nila..
Saw the video ! Felt so sorry for the boy not only to mention wrong accused but more how those group untrained unskiiled uniformed hadle in gansta ways. How would I felt if he was my son ? Makes me filled with anger. Poor boy was dragged carried to van ????. Hope there will be investigation and a case to answer to those front line dumbass Blindly taking action without actual case.
It wasn’t actually your fault why your loan was left unpaid, because you were fired. You better seek legal advice and never agree on any settlement. File criminal charges against him. Let justice prevail.
The police officers who apprehended the boy should take off their uniforms and instead join the UFC bcoz they only knew how to wristled an emotional-health problem 15 year old boy.hehehe
He has to pay the damages he is a true liar fyi.
Tama..
sna may pinipirmahan ka kabayan para sa amount ng loan mo at sa deduction every month

The police should apologize to the boy. Being austistic that boy is surely traumatized. That woman should answer to that incident as well.
