Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach will return to Dubai on March 14 for a meet and greet with the Filipino community. Wurtzbach, who won the Miss Universe pageant in 2015, announced on her Instagram page that she will make an appearance at The Watch House in Dubai to meet the Filipino community.
The beauty queen first went to Dubai in November 2016 during her reign as Miss Universe and talked about her campaigns on spreading awareness of sexually transmitted diseases.
Wurtzbach is an advocate on HIV and AIDS awareness, as well as gender equality and women empowerment. On May 3, 2017, she was named as a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific.
Wurtzbach is the third Filipino to win the Miss Universe pageant.
