Jehza Huelar will represent the Philippines in the Miss Supranational pageant in December. On Sunday evening, Huelar, 21, who is from the town of Mandug in Davao City, Mindanao, was one of the winners in the Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon city, SunStar reported.
Binibining Pilipinas is an annual beauty pageant that selects women to be representatives of the Philippines in international pageants.
Huelar is a graduate of Ateneo de Davao University and holds a Bachelor of Science in finance. Her participation in this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant was her third attempt at winning the title. She was second runner-up two years ago.
The first to win the Miss Supranational pageant was Mutya Datul in 2013.
