A 45-year-old businessman has appeared in court in Dubai after being accused of molesting a Filipino who was applying for a job at his company in the emirate.
In January, the Indian businessman called the woman in for an interview at his company. During the interview, he asked her to prepare a cup of coffee to test her skills, Gulf News reported.
As the woman was preparing the coffee, the man allegedly hugged her from behind, kissed her cheek and molested her. She shouted and the man let her go. She then reported the incident to the police.
The police then summoned the man for questioning.
On Wednesday at the Dubai Court of First Instance, the man was accused of molestation, to which he pleaded not guilty. The trial continues.
