An appeal by a Filipino woman convicted of joining the Islamic State terrorist group has been adjourned by Kuwait’s Court of Appeals.
The woman was accused of joining ISIS – also known as Daesh – and convicted by the Criminal Court, which sentenced her to 10 years in jail, the Arab Times reported.
She filed an appeal at the Court of Appeals. However, the court decided on Wednesday to adjourn the case to March 14.
A similar case happened in 2016 when a Filipino woman was jailed for 10 years after being convicted of joining the same terrorist group and plotting attacks in Kuwait, Arab News reported. This woman, who arrived in Kuwait to work as a domestic in June 2016, was arrested two months later and confessed that she was a member of the Islamic State group.

Rauff Halday sir you’re really a good and responsible employer. I’m sure your house helper would serve your family with love and care because you are good to them. Continue to be a fatherly or brotherly to your house helper so that they will serve your family with a heart. Salaam Alaikom.
