More than 1,000 job opportunities are available for Filipinos in Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and Germany.

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said the three countries were looking for workers such as nurses, factory workers and technicians, Gulf Times reported.

The POEA said Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health needs 500 female specialist nurses for neonatal intensive care unit, coronary care unit, intensive care unit, nursery, emergency room, surgical wards and obstetrics and gynecology.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior is also looking for 50 nurses and 10 laboratory technicians.

In Taiwan, I-Mei Foods Co Ltd is looking for 80 workers – technicians, maintenance workers, bakers, canteen cooks and food analysis inspectors. Formosa Taffeta Co Ltd and NXP Semiconductors Taiwan Ltd are looking for a total of 25 female machine operators.

Germany, meanwhile, needs 350 nurses.

Bernard Olalia, administrator at the POEA, said qualified applicants should register online at POEA’s website.
