US Marine Corps Commander General Robert Neller said on Thursday in Washington, D.C. that the US military must be psychologically prepared for a war with North Korea.
“It will be a very, very kinetic, physical, violent fight over some really, really tough ground, and everybody is going to have to be mentally prepared,” Neller said, according to CNN.
“When they train, they have to keep in the back of their mind, they have to be [ready] physically, mentally, and always their spirit has to be steeled and ready for serious conflict that’s going to test them beyond anything they have ever done in their lives, that was my only intent. And I’ll say that as long as I’m in this office because that’s my job,” Neller added.
Neller said a war on the Korean peninsula would be an extremely bloody affair and wouldn’t involve “just a bunch of things flying around.”
But the Marine Corps commandant said of such a hypothetical conflict: “I wasn’t saying it’s going to happen. I hope it doesn’t happen, I don’t want it to happen.”
Neller reportedly made the comments at a Maritime Security Dialogue event hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the US Naval Institute.

If USA attacks North Korea, North Korea will retaliate by dumping all its nuclear bombs on various cities in USA starting with Washington DC. Tens of millions Americans will be vaporized. And if USA replies by using its nuclear bombs on North Korea, China and Russia will nuke USA with all their nuclear bombs. The whole population of USA will be wiped out.

Sanctions against North Korea went into effect just a few weeks ago. What happened? Sanctions are supposed to solve the problem and prevent wars. There was a lot of media coverage with Pyongyang and Seaul agreed to talk. Now we have this article.
This tells me sanctions are not working. As for war with North Korea in East Asia and supporting a war in the Middle East dealing with the Kurds when Trump is pushing for a vibrant economy does not mix well.
Then we have the containment of Iran, dealing with China and the South China sea and tensions with Russia. Something has to give if all of the above goes into play. America’s economy could be one casualty. Another is North Korea’s capacity to transfer her nuclear technology to the Arab world as a reply to America’s plans of military action against her.
