For the second time this month, a Filipino returning from working overseas has complained about mishandling of luggage at Clark International Airport in northern Luzon.

Last Friday, Rhoda Ildefonso posted on her Facebook that her luggage was still in good condition when she left Hong Kong International Airport. However, upon her arrival at Clark, her suitcase was wrapped in a plastic bag and its zipper was missing. She did not say whether anything was missing from her case.

Her post was shared more than 2,500 times and netizens expressed concerns about the incident, saying that Ildefonso should report the case to avoid similar problems in the future.

On January 10, another traveler who had been working outside the country – in Canada in his case – and returned via Clark Airport posted a video on Facebook saying valuable items from his luggage had been stolen.
