A 46-year-old woman died after she fell from the rooftop of a shopping center in Sham Tseng in Tsuen Wan, New Territories, on Wednesday. At 8pm, the woman named Limdu, a dishwasher at a Chinese restaurant, went to the third-floor rooftop of the Hong Kong Garden Commercial Complex for a rest break, HK01.com reported.
It was believed that she lost her balance and hit a glass barrier before falling to the ground.
The woman was found lying unconscious in the back alley. A colleague called the police and she was sent to Yan Chai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Initial police investigation has not suggested there were any suspicious circumstances.
