US President Donald Trump’s Asia visit will be a positive defining moment in his presidency, says Capital Link International CEO Brett McGonegal.
“I think there’s a real reason that Trump is here. I think he needs an outcome and he needs to get consensus on North Korea,” says McGonegal. “It gives a very calm sense to the trip because he needs something, and therefore I think he’s gonna play nice.”
McGonegal also believes that Trump will get what he wants.
“It’s in everyone’s best interest to at least get to the table, and use some rational way forward,” said McGonegal, who is also a principal shareholder at Asia Times.
