A 29-year-old woman was arrested in Kowloon on Tuesday for her alleged role in the concealment of the birth of a baby early this month. The woman, who was arrested in an apartment on Kai Tak Road in Kowloon City, was detained for further investigation, Sing Pao reported.
Police did not disclose the nationality of the woman.
On Monday, police arrested a 33-year-old Indonesian domestic worker named Suwasti in Tseung Kwan O in the New Territories.
Suwasti charged at the Eastern Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday with one count of concealing the birth of a baby and one count of administering a drug or using an instrument to procure abortion, Oriental Daily reported.
The judge found the defendant had no case to answer and postponed the trial until January 10 next year. She was remanded in custody.
It was understood that Suwasti’s employer fired her after the arrest.
On November 5, a cleaner reported to the police that one of the squat toilets in the women’s washroom on the first floor of Java Road Market and Cooked Food Center in North Point on Hong Kong Island was blocked and had bloodstains.
Police confirmed that the blockage was caused by a placenta with a fetus attached.

There are lots of NGO’s in HONGKONG who is willing to help in this kind of cases why choose to kill a baby and dump it
