A two-year-old boy of Filipino origin has been found dead in a foster care home in Ma On Shan in the New Territories.
A 54-year-old woman surnamed Cheung, who was the boy’s foster parent, found the boy unconscious on a bed at 7am on Friday. She called the police immediately, Sing Tao Daily reported.
Paramedics arrived at the foster care home, in a flat in Block 5 of Saddle Ridge Garden, and sent the boy to the hospital. However, he was pronounced dead on the way.
It was understood that the boy had been suffering an illness and got a fever recently.
Police do not suspect foul play but the actual cause of death will be determined after an autopsy is completed, Oriental Daily reported.
Suffering an illness and had a fever recently,???..is there any medical assistance given to the boy at that time,???..they already know that he was sick, so they must monitor his condition from time to time..jeeezzzz..
I think negligence is the main reason of his death. She should have monitor the boy from time to time since He was sick.
