A 42-year-old Filipino was sent to hospital after he cut off his penis and threw it into a toilet on Sunday in Shau Kei Wan on Hong Kong Island. The man named Martin, a driver, did the deed in the apartment on Ngoi Man Street where he lived with his 37-year-old girlfriend, a Filipino domestic worker, Wen Wei Po reported.
At 7:39am, the woman returned home and found her boyfriend bleeding heavily from his crotch and missing his penis. She yelled for help from a male neighbor, who called the police.
Police officers and paramedics arrived and the victim, who was conscious, told them he had flushed his penis down the toilet.
The man was sent to the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital and was in serious condition, Oriental Daily reported.
No suicide note was found but the woman told the police that her boyfriend had been depressed recently.
An initial police investigation suggested that the man had chosen to injure himself while his girlfriend was not home. They classified the case as a suicide attempt, Apple Daily reported.

Its not his deppression that make this news funny..i read one comment here where he stated that this is not funny yet he also stated that some guys who tries to commit suicide do silly things.the funny thing here is,its unsual for a person to commit suicide by cutting his pennis..usually they cut there wrist or just hang themselves or just fall in highest height they think they will surely die..don’t be too sensitive on other people’s comments,nega or possitive..they just want to express there opinion and some r really pretty hilarious.
Depressed guy…..depression is a hard battle not evryone can understand not unless they will experience it…..they need help esp from.people close to them…
