A 26-year-old domestic worker was arrested on Tuesday for alleged abuse of a child in a flat in Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon.
A woman reported to police at 11pm that she suspected her maid had abused her three-year-old daughter in a flat on Tak Shing Street in Yau Ma Tei, the Oriental Daily reported.
The report did not say what country the maid comes from.
Police arrived and arrested the maid. The girl was sent to a hospital accompanied by her mother for a medical examination.
Apple Daily reported that the little girl told her mother that she was unhappy because the maid touched her private part.
Police classed the case as child abuse and officers are investigating the matter.
According to figures released by the Social Welfare Department, some 477 child abuse cases were reported in the first half of this year. Fifteen of these involved a caregiver as the abuser.
Maybe,the Helper tries to washed The Girl private part,not intention to do anything bad.Maybe,the Maid just want To wash it properly,but the little girl is feeling annoyed by that,that’s why She is complaining.
Sometimes, our good intentions become bad for other people.

This is stupidly rediculous. I should say HK police is being bias here….not knowing the real case. This post doesn’t explain well if the maid is giving her a bath…or cleaning her private part which is i am guessing…washing it without malicious. Sheesh HK people can you please loosen up in accusing your maids right away and ask what really went wrong! Even kids lie!!
