A street brawl broke out on Sunday among three men of foreign origin in Tsuen Wan in the New Territories, Oriental Daily reported. At 2pm, as an Indian asylum seeker was walking along Fu Wing Street near Lik Sang Plaza, he met two Filipinos. An argument broke out, and the row eventually escalated into a physical fight.

It was understood that the three men knew one another and the Indian had a grudge against the two Filipinos.

The Indian was attacked, resulting in bleeding on his face. He was sent to hospital for medical treatment.

Police later apprehended the two Filipinos, aged 28 and 23, in a shopping mall. Both men were found to be holders of Hong Kong identity cards.

Police arrested all three men on suspicion of participating in an  unlawful fight in a public area. Tsuen Wan police are following up the case.
