International brands have shipped their popular products to warehouses in the China Bonded Area to prepare for the upcoming Double Eleven Shopping Festival, Beijing Youth Daily reported.

Coined by Alibaba, one of the largest e-commerce firms in China, the Double Eleven Shopping Festival is a special promotion taking place on November 11.

By moving popular products to the bonded warehouses, the brands aim to send out packages immediately after consumers order online.

Buyers in Jiangsu and Zhejiang province, as well as Shanghai city will even be able to receive their packages on the same day.

Meanwhile, Chinese logistics and express companies are busy with overseas expansion to meet the growing demand of cross-border online shopping.

Earlier in September, SF Express announced that its joint venture with United Parcel Service was approved by regulators, which will shorten the delivery between Sino-America to within just seven days.
